ROBERT MALM
As a second-generation builder, born and raised in Bethesda, Robert began learning the intricacies of homebuilding from his father at an early age. He began as a jobsite laborer at 15 and transitioned into a project management role during his time at Virginia Tech, where he earned a degree in Building Construction and Real Estate. Immediately following graduation in 2007, he co-founded BeaconCrest and began building their inaugural subdivision in Potomac, Maryland. Since then, Robert has grown the company and helped lead BeaconCrest to successfully design, build, and sell in many of the Washington area’s finest neighborhoods amidst a dynamic and continuously evolving real estate market. Through his many years in the business, he has amassed firsthand, real-life experience which has helped forge a rare and multifaceted skill set and in turn helped the company successfully deliver hundreds of custom homes since its inception. In addition to his responsibilities as a Managing Partner at BeaconCrest, Robert is also a Vice-President and Partner at Craftmark Homes. He resides at his home in Arlington with his wife and their three children. Outside of work, he enjoys coaching youth soccer, mountain biking, boating, or planning the family’s next ski or surfing adventure.
